October 2011
She actually used to be terrible live - I first saw her in ‘06 at Warped Tour and I was like o_O But she definitely got better!
Yeah, I saw her a few years ago at a festival before even ‘Waking Up In Vegas’ was released and she wasn’t great, but she was very good last night. Her mic stopped working at one point and you couldn’t hear her at all, but at least you knew she was singing live.
I had a load of fun though. I’d go see her again. I was impressed by her energy. I was exhusted just looking at her!

HAVE FUN GURL
SO MUCH FUN! That girl can put on a show and a half! And she’s a much better singer than I ever would have gave her credit for. The highlights were her Northern Irish accents attempts and throwing her birthday cake into the crowd.
I don’t understand. Brother-in-law trying explain it to me but I don’t even understand regular football.
There was just a squirrel on the pitch -that was fun!
WHAT. Yeah, that makes me question humanity ¬_¬ PS I’m going to try to post Lit for F&A today before your bed time ^_^
Yeah, I gave her THE LOOK. THE LOOK get me complained about. I bring it out a lot when dealing with the moronic general public.
REALLY!? I actually squealed. I’m in work! LOL I’m about to leave this job, to go to my other job. Fun. So a new F&A update is something to look forward to! :D
LMAO. Wow, that’s a bit of a fail on her part XD I have little patience for people who can’t do simple math, which is unfair because sometimes I make awful errors myself.
This is where I get confused. My mum is a wizz at math. She can work out sums in her head in a flash. Me and my sister both credit mum for our love of numbers. It’s apparently just counting backwards for time differences. LOL Unless she’s been pretending for YEARS that she’s screwing up and she’s just screwing with us and waking us up at silly o’clock for her own twisted amusment.
And I have patience for people who can’t do simple math. Yesterday in work I had a girl who asked for two tickets for a show. Her total for the two was £42. She then looked at me and went ‘So how much is it for one?’ 0___o You’re shitting me right?
Hahahaha what is it with parents and their bad sense of time differences? I’m the go-to person for calculating time differences after living in Europe hahaha but yeah, I definitely want to go once in my life!!
My mum is desperate. She’s been going to Australia for as long as I can remember. Actually, she’s been going since before I was born. Her twin sister lives there. You think she’d be able to work out the time difference. She can work it what time it is in Australia when she’s home, but she can’t seem to do the opposite. Clearly counting backwards is a challenge for her.
HAHAHA yeah you definitely have to fast-forward the opening after a while. How was Australia?? I want to go so badly, but the plane-ride there is ridiculous.
Australia’s amazing. I’ve been twice. Both times for a month, over Christmas. First time I was 15 and then when I was 18. Beautiful country. I want to go back, and travel. It’s just getting the money together. My parents are actually there now. My mum keeps phoning at 6am and being all ‘Oh, did I screw up the time difference again?’ YES. LET ME SLEEP YOU INSANE PERSON!
But, if you get the opportunity, you should go, ridiculous plane-ride is so so worth it.
You should! My sister and I just have season one and we’ve been wanting to watch it, but we get distracted by life hahah
I have seasons 1+2 somewhere, but I know she has the whole thing. Maybe we can organise a wee OC night before the parentals land back and we have to give back the living room and big TV. lol
Though I got my season one boxset for christmas the year we were in Australia for the holidays and my cousin (who we were staying with) hadn’t seen any of the OC because it hadn’t been aired there. And we had a marathon. I was sick of Phantom Planet by the end. I still have to fastforward / mute the theme song.
That’s a show I’d love to rewatch - quality episode
I was flicking through the tellybox trying to find anything to watch and I’m usual port of call is the food channel and there was nothing on there so I flicked up and this random channel I never watch was airing it. From the begining. I felt 17 again! Brilliant. My sister has the complete boxset. I must borrow it at some point.
